Born: "Matthew Blair Evansfeld" - November 21st, 1994.
Died: November 30th, 2014.
Human Life: Matthew Evansfeld was born in Northern England in 1994, where he resided until his mother's death in 2001. He, his father Jack, and his brother Nathan then moved to London, where Matt picked up the guitar and immersed himself in the grunge/gothic lifestyle popular at the time. He also realized, around this time, that he was homosexual. At the age of sixteen, he officially came out of the closet to a compassionate father and a violent elder brother. 9 days after Matt's 20th birthday, Nathan witnessed Matthew and his lover embrace outside of their London flat. In a fit of rage, he assaulted both with a switchblade and disappeared from the public eye.
Reincarnation: Matthew was born again as the God of Metal. he recieved the spirit of the rare pepper fox and renamed himself "Hunter", determined to track down his murderous older brother and give him "a well-deserved throttling, the bloody prick." He is a dark and sullen person, living out his days in a lost and miserable state of being. His very limited group of aquaintences include ChouDai, Zareon, and Ramper. Though he hopes one day to reunite with his lover, Hunter has developed a slight crush on ChouDai, the God of Wind.

ChouDai
Born: "Chirapaq Ananau" - April 23rd, 1866.
Died: January 4th, 1889.
Human Life: Chirapaq was an Iroquois-born Native American who grew up in what is now Arizona, in the spring of 1866. He lived a happy life with his family and friends until 1882, when he was captured by English settlers and forced into the slave trade. He was then transported to a tobacco plantation in Georgia, where he was witness to the mindless slaying of his mother and his baby sister. Forced to wait on the plantation owners and harvest crops for hours upon hours everyday, the name "Richard" was forced upon him. Chirapaq refused outright to change his name, and was punished in the standard manner of the time: 40 lashes. An artery in his back was severed in the onslaught, and he died later that night from exponential blood loss.
Reincarnation: Chirapaq, the new God of Wind, was an absolute marvel upon his rebirth. He was found to have two animal parts: golden eagle and the more predominant Kuvasz domestic dog. Di-animal spirits are very rare in Polaris, and every occurance before had died shortly after rebirth, as most animal spirits are simply incompatible. The anomaly has never occured so perfectly, and never in a God. "ChouDai", as Chirapaq decided to call himself, took the weight of the controversy onto his shoulders, but still manages to keep his dog half's happy disposition. He is cheerful and kind to everyone he meets, and is well-liked by the community.

Zareon
Born: Unknown

Human Life: Unknown
Reincarnation: Little is known regarding Zareon's past. As the Goddess of Ice, this sky-blue Bengal tiger is the eldest of the Polaris Gods. Both human half and cat half are battle-worn and tattered in her old age, but Zareon never complains. She prefers a quiet corner and a good book to company. Her shy and withdrawn nature and the circumstances around it remain a mystery even to the most ancient of the Gods.
Amethyst
Born: "Marilyn D'foir" - August 14th, 1672.
Died: July 30th, 1694.
Human Life: In the wake of the Black Plague, a young Marilyn was raised by her grandparents in Southern France. Her father had died in the Crusades, and her mother was lost to the bubonic virus. Marilyn was hated growing up, an "Unholy Spawn" - an illegitimate child. She moved to Spain at 15, living as a bar server in one of the numerous ocean-side brothels, eventually becoming a prostitute at the age of 17 to keep bread on the table. When she was 22, a drunken client abducted Marilyn from the brothel and beat her nearly to death, dumping her body in the Atlantic when he was through and leaving her to drown.
Reincarnation: Assuming the responsibility of the Goddess of Lightning upon her rebirth, Marilyn named herself after the precious stone set in the only possesion that remained after her mother died: "Amethyst". Her animal form is that of a black wolf, an exotic animal fitting of her flirtatious and promiscuous personality. Coming from a time when women were treated like dirt and subservient to men, Amethyst used her new life to study up on fighting and philosophy. Her favorite weapons were first daggers and later, handguns, and she was the first to befriend the ancient and shy Zareon.
